Sunday

It took me ages to get to sleep last night, not sure why but it really makes me angry when that happens.

It had rained a lot overnight and it was very dull first thing but the sun did come out later. It was colder inside our house than outside.

We called Malcolm again this morning and we had a good long chat with him which was nice.

We then went out for a coffee to the garden centre and then on to the Warehouse as I wanted to buy another couple of blankets for Totty so that I can get her others washed. he only had two and to wash one at a time seems a waste of a load so now I will be able to wash three at a time and still have one to use.

We bought some bread and a pie for Jon's lunch and then went home.

I took Totty out for her walk as the sky was getting very black and I thought it would be the last chance for the day.

I lit the fire as it was so cold due to no sun. I don't know what we would do without the fire.

We didn't do much for the rest of the day. We had lunch and watched some TV and then I made a lemon cake and some banana and chocolate chip muffins. I went out to pick some lemons and they are now really big and juicy and I got five and a half tablespoons of juice from one lemon!

We had roast chicken for dinner tonight and then watched NZ Got Talent - mmmmmm! They had so many good ones on last week but this week was not so good. A bit of a fix like it is in the UK and US I think.
