It felt really cold again this morning due to a sharp wind. I got up and ready and took Totty out for her walk.
Once Jon and Bertie were ready we set off to the office and picked some coffees up on the way. I left Jon and arranged to pick him up at 1.00 unless he called me sooner.
I then went into Tauranga to buy a birthday present for my elderly neighbour. It is so hard to find her something that is light and that will be useful. I finally settled on a shopping bag with her name on it and a pretty nailbrush with shells in the top that are in liquid so move around. They gift wrapped them and so I went straight to the post office and sent it off.
I also bought Christmas cards and some of the Christmas stamps. Hopefully, I will get them out on time this year as last year I was very late.
I just happened to pass by a nice shop and spotted a really nice jumper which I bought!!
I got back and just had time to vacuum before going out to collect Jon.
He looked a bit tired but I think it will do him good to be back.
When we got in Totty had spread her bag of biscuits right across the floor and eaten a lot. I have been so careful to close the door but rushing out I forgot. I cleaned them up and had to vacuum again as there were crumbs from the kitchen to her bed at the other end of the room where she had dragged the bag. I am happy to say she seems to be able to hear me a bit now so she did hear her telling off.
I made lunch and then I carried on with my housework and Jon read his book.
We had dinner, a meal from the freezer that I had cooked a week ago so nice and easy. We watched some TV and now Jon is doing his jigsaw and I am going for an early night.

Sunny spells but cold wind 19 degrees.
