It was really cold this morning when I got up and we were back to condensation on the windows!! We got down to 6 degrees last night!

I got ready for work and hung out the washing. the forecast was for rain after lunch so I hoped it would dry and I would be able to get it in before the rain. As it happened the rain never came at all.

We had a busy morning at the shop as we now have lots of stock in but we have run out of hangers so we can only put things out as we sell stuff, the hangers have been ordered but not here yet.

I found a skirt that I thought Bronwyn would like and thought I would take a photo and send it to her but when I got my phone out the battery was dead. I am not having a lot of luck with this phone. I changed the plan I am on to give me more Internet minutes and I did it online but it doesn't seem to have worked so I need to go into Tauranga after work to the Vodaphone shop.

I called Jon to tell him I had no phone and if he needed me to phone the shop. He told me that occupational therapy had been out and brought him a new cushion which was good. I put the skirt for Bronwyn in a bag to hold for her.

The morning passed well and we were kept busy and I went over for our coffee and bought a sandwich for my lunch so that I wasn't starving hungry by the time I got home.

I left work and went into Tauranga and the Vodaphone shop is just near the car park. When I got there they were closed as they have relocated to - just near the Red Cross shop!!! The opposite side of the road but I had driven right past it!! Just as well I also had to go to the library or it would have been a wast of a trip.

I got back to the car and drove back to where they have moved to and had I noticed I would have been able to walk across and down the road a little from the Red Cross doh!!!!

I told the lady what I had done and she logged on and sorted it all out so hopefully I will now be OK as long as I don't let the battery run flat again.

On my way back I stopped by to see Bronwyn as I haven't seen her for ages. I went in and we had a catch up over a cuppa and I showed her the photo and she said she might go in and try it on.

I got back and Jon said Mike had called round with a coffee for him which passed the morning for him and his cushion is helping him and he can now sit down better.

I took Tot for her walk and brought in my washing and cooked the dinner. It was feeling a bit cold so I decided to light the fire just to keep the chill off for the morning.

Heather emailed me with the phone number for Rene's sister, Fran. She went to ask one of the neighbours where Rene was and they gave her the number. Fran was taken into hospital the day before we left and now that she is home Rene has been staying with her.

I was able to call tonight and had a chat with Fran and then she said 'Thank you for calling and I hope your husband will be fine, bye'. I thought she was going to call Rene to chat with me but she put the phone down!!! I didn't like to call again so will have to leave it a few days. Rene will probably be cross with her for not letting me speak to her. What would you do with them!!! At least I know they are both OK.

Off to bed now. We might go to the Genera 40th Birthday celebration tomorrow. It depends on how Jon and Bertie are feeling.
