I was up at 7.00 to let Tot out and then went back to bed for 'five minutes' and woke up at 8.00!!
Jon didn't get up till gone 9.00 as he had not slept well again. He is going to try sleeping back upstairs in our bed and hopes he doesn't wake me up too much!!
I called Kirsty as I have been trying to get onto the website to look at her wedding photographs and even after her giving me the password I couldn't do it. I manged to catch her in and she told me what to do so I have now been able to see them. The ones of her and James are lovely but I am not sure I like all the black and white ones, I prefer colour. There are some I will get copies of though. they bought the rights to the CD so I can get copies from them. I thought it was rather a shame that there isn't a group one of all the family and only the one taken from the upstairs window which is not very good and I have my eyes closed on it. I like the more traditional line up photos of the brides family on one side and the grooms on the other but it was their choice to have them like that.
We went out for coffee very late so late it was nearly lunch and as I had not had any breakfast we decided to have brunch. On our way we drove past a house we knew was for rent. It was very nice and in a quiet part of the city centre next door to the Elms Mission House which is a tourist attraction and has lots of visitors in the summer from the cruise ships. Unfortunately, the fence was low and therefore not very private and I don't fancy being on view to American and Australian tourists when I am sitting in my garden.
We then went across to the Mount and our favourite cafe near the beach was really busy and Jon couldn't find anything that he could eat so we went to downtown the Mount and had a very nice lunch sitting in the sun. We then had a walk around the shops before going home.
I took Tot out and then did a few bits and bobs. I have been sorting out a few cupboards just in case we suddenly find a house and have to move. I can't believe how much we have accumulated in 11 months!
Jon took the car out for a drive to see how he felt. He thinks he will be OK to get to work tomorrow which is good as they have a board meeting and I have a keep fit class so it would have been difficult.
I spent a couple of hours trying to sort out a problem with my eReader. I bought two books but only one has downloaded but I have paid for both and I am still not sure what has happened. I will try again tomorrow.
I had to shave Jon's neck today as the hairs are really long and he looks a bit scruffy and he hasn't been able to get to have a haircut. He now looks a bit tidier and no blood was shed!!
We just had a sandwich tonight as we were full from our brunch so didn't want much - nice and easy.
