Heather called this morning soon after I got up and she told me all about the weekend in Cornwall and sounds like they had a lovely time but she said she will never go again for such a short time as it is too far.
We had to finish as I was due at my keep fit class. I had missed it last week and really noticed it this week as the routine was the fast one. I certainly hope I am as fit as some of the ladies when I am in my 70s.
I stayed for a coffee and a chat but missed my friend Viv who has now moved to Auckland and Ros was up in Auckland meeting her daughter, son in law and grandson who have moved here from UK.
I popped in to the supermarket for my magazine and some vegetables and then went home. The sky was looking very black and so I decided to wait before taking Totty out and I was glad I did as it poured down.
My friend Janice called and we had a long chat and by the time we had finished it was fine and I took Totty out for her walk.
I had an email from Kirsty with one of the readings for her wedding which she has asked if I would like to read. I have told her I think I might be too emotional. If I cry at Bambi I think I might just shed a tear or two at her wedding!! I will have to read it again and then decide.
I had my lunch and decided not to go to my aqua class this afternoon for two reasons, one, it was not looking very good weather wise and I didn't fancy getting cold and two, I have a really painful leg and I am not sure if it is my hamstring or sciatica. I have made an appointment for tomorrow to see the osteopath as I think sitting on a plane for two 12 hour flights might be quite painful at the moment.
As we haven't had much sunshine today the house was really cold so I lit the fire and watched Dr Oz and then the start of Wimbledon. I watch the recorded programme as I don't think I could stay up till midnight and beyond to watch live!
Jon sent me a text about 4.00 to say he would not be able to call me till about 7.00 as his treatment was going to be late. I replied and then he phoned me straight away as he realised I was home so we had an early chat. He told me the weather had been pretty miserable in Hamilton but he had managed to do his walk around the lake but he said he just got back before the rain. He was going to go to the cinema but there was nothing on he fancied. He doesn't like it when his treatment is so late as he just feels he can't get into anything and hangs around all day. I told him we had received our invitation to Kirst'y wedding which is very pretty. And that was his day and mine.
I cooked my dinner, stir-fry vegetables, and then watched TV.
WEATHER
Cloudy with some sunny spells 16 degrees
