I woke at 7.00 as Tot wanted to go out and it was so cold. I got back into bed as I thought it was too early to get up and the next thing it was 9.25 and not so cold!! That's it, I need to stay in bed till the sun comes over the hill and warms the house!!
After the late start we were all behind today and so only managed to hang out the washing this morning and Jon opened his presents and cards before it was time to go for coffee.
We tried a new cafe which was very good and the almond croissant was yummy. We had a walk around Tauranga and bought some potential Christmas presents and Jon bought me a lovely handbag and purse for my birthday which I can't look at!!!
We then went to the Harbourside for lunch where I had booked a table by the window. Lunch was a little disappointing for me due to the choices I made but Jon enjoyed his which was the main thing. I was glad we went for lunch as I don't think Jon would have stayed awake for dinner.
We then drove home and I walked Tot while Jon lit the fire and we watched some TV.
We had a call inn the evening from the log people to say they would be round in half an hour 6.30!!
They arrived and I don't know how but he managed to reverse the Ute down the drive and 'into' the garage and unload all the logs, one of the guys, typical Kiwi, had no shoes on!! So we now have a good supply of logs and all inside the garage. They will need to be stacked but at least they are dry.
I made a Spanish omelette for dinner and drank too much wine and now feel ugh. Too much wine is not really an awful lot for me these days!!
I now need to go to bed.
