I was up early this morning so that I could wash my hair and hopefully get to the shop on time!

I just about made it! We had a really busy morning in the shop and put out lots of clothes. After all the wind over the last couple of days the outside of the shop was a mess with dead leaves and they were making a mess with people walking them into the shop so I got the sweeping brush and swept the street and cleaned them all up. Now time for coffee. We then put out lots of children's clothes and before I knew it, it was time to go.

I went to pick up the heater we had ordered and also to buy some fruit and veg at the supermarket before going home. I forgot to drop off the cakes and scones to Peter and Bronwyn!! I did remember to collect Jon's chemo tablets though!

I had a quick lunch and watched Land Girls before getting the washing in and then lighting the fire. I also did a lot of hand washing.

Jon came home about 5.00 as he had been into the office to check a few things out and sort out some things. I got all his washing into the machine and it is ready to hang out in the morning.

I took Tot out and then sat and had a chat with Jon. He told me he had been chatting to a couple of the men over breakfast at the Lodge but when they started talking about their bowel habits and incontinence pants he thought it was time for him to go. He thinks it is a good reason to stay away from the lounge after dinner as he does not want to 'share' his bowel habits with strangers!!!

He was not so tired this week and was very happy to be home.

He went out for our fish and chips which were really good tonight. We watched some TV and then bed. Another week over!
