Into the fourth week!

We woke to a very overcast morning which means a cold day indoors!! I lit the fire as soon as I had showered as I just hate being cold in the house.

Unfortunately, the mouse had been around again but didn't go in the traps. I really think he must be getting hungry now as there is nothing left out for him to eat but he still makes a lot of mess!!

We had breakfast and then Jon went into the office for the morning. His treatment is not until 6.00 so he doesn't need to leave till about 3.00. I got on with my housework and did actually manage to get my washing more or less dry before the rain came over this afternoon.

I booked a table for seven of us to go for lunch on Wednesday down near the beach.

I cooked our main meal and made a sandwich for Jon to have this evening. We had lunch at 1.00 and then watched the end of the golf and I did some ironing.

Jon left to go to Hamilton and no doubt it will be a wet and windy drive over the Kaimais.

I took Tot out and got back before the heavy rain started. The strong winds followed and and I was glad I was indoors by a cosy fire.

Jon texted to say he had arrived safely and I made some cheese on toast for my dinner.

I watched the TV and caught up with some programmes.

It is going to be a bad night tonight as it is so windy and raining and the house creaks so much when it is like this.
