Tuesday

I had a very iffy tummy this morning and thought it was due to getting ready to come home.

I can see from our windows that there are three cruise ships in port today. It will be busy down there.

I went to my keep fit class and she seems to have changed the classes to much faster - a new year I think! We all worked hard and were dripping at the end of it as it was so warm which was odd as the day started so cold.

I stayed for a coffee and a chat and Agnes, the old lady who lives not far from me and I collect her post when she is away, gave me a lovely box of truffles for 'helping her out'. Very kind of her and they look yummy but I am trying so hard to lose some of my Christmas pounds!

I got home and started cleaning kitchen cupboards out so that when the packers come in they will just need a quick wipe out. Far too hot and nice to be doing this.

I left to go to my aqua class and had a tin of stain to drop off to Carol, who bought the deck furniture, as we won't need it. She was just leaving for the class too so I handed it over and continued to the pools.

We had a new teacher today and she was really good and so much nicer than Julie. We had a good class and one of the routines was to Greased Lightening which was really good fun.

I came straight home and Jon was in but said he had not felt well all day so was not going to his class. So my iffy tummy was probably the same and I have my suspicions that it could have been the smoked salmon pasta I cooked last night as it was one day out of date?

As I wasn't expecting him in for dinner I didn't have anything prepared so we just had an omelette and I fried a huge courgette that I picked from the garden and two huge tomatoes and it turned out to be very tasty.

Jon had an early night and I watched TV. I watched Kangaroo Dundee which was very good but very sad poor little joeys.
