Friday

A very rough start to the day with rain and very windy overnight. It did brighten up though and was very warm by 11.00.

I went to the Red Cross and we had a new volunteer start and Jesica was back from holiday and Les and Sharon, Noleen and me so very over staffed today but we all found enough to keep us busy and the shop was busy, too so the morning passed quickly.

Carol arrived back from Auckland after taking her daughter back for her flight to UK last night. We were going to lunch together and Les joined us for coffee and we all had a chat and a catch up.

I then went home and didn't do much else for what was left of the afternoon.

Jon came home and he later went out for fish and chips. He ordered terakihi but it tasted more like hoki and I didn't eat it - too fishy for me.

We watched some TV and then I played Pet Rescue and managed to move on two levels. I have been on level 34 since November!!

I am a bit annoyed with Jon as we have been invited to a bbq with Lions on Sunday and he doesn't want to go as he says he won't know anyone- he is very anti social.

WEATHER
Overcast and windy to start then warm and sunny and windy 25 degrees
