Tuesday

Well it has been a good few weeks since my last keep fit class and I am really missing them now.

I had arranged to meet a friend down at the Mount at 9.30 to have a walk around and then a coffee.

I arrived at the Mount and found a good parking space and waited for Joan. I was very glad I had my showerproof jacket in the car as it was really windy and cold and I needed it.

We set off on our walk and enjoyed a good catch up on our way around. I love walking around the Mount as it is always so beautiful no matter what the weather is like. We met Alison and Doug who were walking the opposite way and we stopped for a chat.

We carried on around and finished our walk and we were in need of a drink so went to one of my favourite places, The Deckchair and enjoyed an iced coffee and we sat talking until nearly 1.00! There is nothing like a good natter!

We parted company and I went off and stopped by Nosh on my way back and bought a few bits. The still have lots of the Waitrose Christmas puddings in stock but they have not reduced them yet so I will keep popping in and see if I can get a bargain.

I arrived home and the wind had picked up a lot. I was very hungry o made my lunch - Marmite on toast one of my favourites.  I watched an episode of Downton Abbey while having lunch and it was the one where Anna gets raped so of course I then had to watch the next one.

I decided not to go to my aqua class as it was very windy so thought I would have a go at my keep fit DVD that I picked up from the library on Sunday.

Jon came home early just as I was about to start the DVD so I waited till he left again for his Pilates class and then I started. It took mean age to work out how to use the DVD as it is so long since I used it but once I got going it was good. I have to say by the end of 40 minutes I was so hot and tired so just 'watched' the rest!

I had to have a shower to cool down followed by a glass of rose and wait for Jon to come home.

After his shower I made us an omelette and we had dinner and I was more than ready for it. I need to do this DVD every day I think.

We watched some TV and now I am just about to fall into bed!
