Tuesday

Another lovely morning today but they say we are in for showers later.

After Jon went to work I had my breakfast and sat out on the deck in the shade for a while. I did some hand washing and hung it out.

I then decided to do some gardening as the weeds and the dead heads of the agapanthus are driving me mad. I chose a semi shade area to work on and as always I intend to do an hour and three hours later my back is killing me and you can't see what I have done. I can get to a little more of my washing line now though.

I was by now very hot so sat indoors to cool off a little.

I made some lunch and sat out on the deck in the shade to eat it.

I called the hot pools to see if the aqua class was on and they said yes so at 3.30 I went down to the Mount.

I was very disappointed when I got there to see Julie, a teacher I really don't like, walking across the car park.

The pool was very busy with holiday makers but only about seven for the class. The music she plays is really loud band music and she goes so fast and there is no way you can do it that fast in the water. She shouts at everyone and is generally a very loud person.

I spoke to a couple of the ladies after the class and they told me they did not like her taking the class but that hopefully they will have someone else for next week. It is going to be a long four months without Carla if not and I won't be going anymore.

I got home and started cooking the dinner. Jon was late again as he went for a walk around the Mount. He has got a bee in his bonnet at the moment about getting fit and he never does things by half!

We watched some TV but I fell asleep must be the heat and the exercise after not having done any for a few weeks.

Well, still no showers but they say we will get some but fine again tomorrow.

Off to bed now for an early night.

Sunny and officially 24 degrees. Not sure where they get the figures from as it was 26 on our deck in the shade!
