There is nothing much to write about today as all I did was paint the walls in the living room and I am glad to say they are now finished so just the woodwork to do. We might even have curtains up in the next day or so. I then have the kitchen and family room to do. I have given myself ten days to get it all finished so I will really push on with it all as I have had enough of living in a muddle.
I did manage to get a load of washing out to dry between all the painting and we did take Totty out for a walk this morning but she was tired and I had to pick her up and carry her part of the way back!
Jon had a text from the decorator saying he had changed his mind and would not be giving us any money back. He actually wrote a reply on the website that he would so Jon will now write one saying he hasn't. Jon is going to complain to the people who run the website and see if they can do anything.
Jon spent the whole day in the garden again sorting out the greenhouse and shed and putting the new box together to store the extra chairs and sun loungers in.
I just hope we will eventually have some time to enjoy the garden before the lovely weather ends.
The tree surgeon is coming in tomorrow to cut the big lime tree down and hopefully there are no nests up there. The builder is starting the patio next week so we are not far off now.
I cooked some fresh tuna steaks for dinner and they were very nice. Heather has never had fresh tuna and said it is not as 'fishy' as tinned tuna. Not sure if that was a thumbs up for it or not.
After dinner I still had all my brushes and tray to clean and got them done as I hate to leave them till the next day.
I have a breast scan tomorrow and Jon is off for lunch with someone so I have invited Jane and Riley over so I have a day off tomorrow.
Early night tonight as I am very tired.
