When the sun is not shinning in the morning it is very difficult to get up as it was this morning. I hope the sun comes back soon!

More of the same today - unpacking boxes. They really do odd things when they pack a house. I suppose they don't think about what they are packing and it all just gets wrapped and packed like a pen and a pocket packet of Kleenex - why? The coin dish with more than $20 in it. Could they not ask? Why would we need dollars in UK? Ah well they are only doing their job.

Jon spent the whole day in the garage but it is now finally done. It is still bursting at the seams but at least it is clean and tidy. I no have space to put all my electrical, kitchen appliances which has freed up some space in the cupboards.

I finally managed to get the white sticky labels off the glass cupboard doors. I Googled it and it suggested using vodka and fortunately, for me, there was some in the garage and it worked a treat, lovely sparkling windows.

We did go out for a coffee this morning and I bought some birthday cards and stamps, anything to avoid queuing in the post office! We went to a curtain shop and I found some very nice Jeff Banks curtains in a sale they had on and just the right colour. I also bought some for the bedroom and for Heather's bedroom all in the one shop.

Back home we had more unpacking and I finally started on the boxes upstairs which are mainly clothes. I found two of the clothes rails and put one up but I can't find all the screws for the other and until I do there is no point unpacking the clothes.

The lady didn't get back to me about the bed so I assume it is too big for her room so will try again on FB and if not the charity shop will benefit!!!

Heather told me some sad news this evening about the death of one of my Brownie mums who was only 51. I saw a photo of her on FB at Christmas and she looked fine. Very sad, nice lady who had a difficult life.

We watched some TV after dinner and I had a chat with Jane who had taken Riley over to see his great granddad today, she also took him into her office to see the people there so he has had a showing off today. He is doing well and has put weight on and now weighs 8lbs 8oz a total of 10 ounces in ten days.

Early night tonight and hopefully I can get up early in the morning.
