Sunday

It was overcast this morning as the forecast said but later the sun came out and it was hot again. I will be sorry to see the sun go when it finally does.

I started with loads of washing this morning before we went out for our coffee. I suppose we should stop this as it costs a lot of money when you add it all up. Jon says he is going to buy a coffee machine and learn to make a flat white!

We got home and I started to tape the floor in the conservatory ready to paint the skirting board and I asked Jon if he could re paint the parts of the wall in the hall and downstairs loo. Really, really annoying as we thought it would all be finished and looking nice by today. Jon got very angry and stressed doing the painting, he doesn't enjoy it at all. Once I had finished the skirting I then put a second coat on the living room door which looked a mess with just the one coat the decorator had put on. Jon was wanting to watch the Grand Prix and said he would finish the hall tomorrow but I said I would finish it or I would have rollers and brushes to wash again tomorrow and once is enough. I started to help and it was soon done and he went to watch the F1. I cleared up the mess!

The decorator was supposed to come round with the money he is returning to us today but he has not arrived. If he does not bring it Jon will write another review on him as he has said in his reply that he will give us something back. Watch this space.

I cooked dinner but I am not feeling very hungry these past few days, stress or heat I am not sure.

I was out getting the washing in and heard a loud crack and saw a huge branch from next doors plum tree falling down. It is a shame it is not the horrible one that drops the horrible little plums on our side!

We watched some TV and then I read the paper online before sending a long overdue email to one of my friends in NZ and for which I feel very guilty but I just don't have much free time. One day!

Off to bed now to read my book which is very sad - The Fault in Our Stars. I am not sure I could go and see the film.

WEATHER
