Tuesday

The early night was worth it as I did get up earlier today.

I spent the morning cleaning bathrooms and shower doors and nooks and crannies that haven't been cleaned for a while so they are all sparkling again.

Jon left to go to the station and caught the train from Newmarket to Cambridge and then on to London.

We had two men come to give quotes for a new garage door and the window cleaner came.

I thought I was going to get so much done but not sure where the time went and before I knew it was lunchtime.

After lunch I did more clothes sorting and then made my shopping list according to my menus and I must try and stick to it and stop going to the shops so often.

On my way I stopped in to see Rene and she showed me a very nasty wound on the side of her foot by her big toe. She is not sure how she did it and says it must be from the fall but I think someone would have noticed it before now if it was. She told me the doctor is coming to see her on Friday and I said I think it might need to be seen before that and I would take her to the surgery but she said no. I came home and got some dressings to put on it and she said it felt better as it wasn't rubbing on her slipper. I hope it is not going to get infected but it did look a bit nasty. Stubborn lady.

I went and did my shopping and stuck to my list. It helped that I was in a hurry!

Back home I made a beef ragu to have tonight with pasta.

I was just having a cuppa when Jon came home and said he had had a good meeting.

I brought my washing in and Heather came home from work while I was ironing and then we had dinner and watched some TV.

We all then went out for our walk with Totty.

Heather is still not feeling well and her boss seems to be coming down with the same thing so maybe it is a virus so she has gone to bed early again.

I carried on with my ironing and watched the TV.

Jon made me a coffee and my back told me I had done enough today so I sat down.

Riley had his hearing test today and all is well. He still has one ear blocked but they say it will clear.
