I phone Barbara, my sister, this morning as I haven't spoken to her for a few weeks and we caught up.
When I got out with Totty we met Peter in the park with Uppy and walked with them. Totty is a antisocial and ignores him, it is a shame she won't play with other dogs now.
I went into Tauranga to buy a present for another baby! Of course, I had to have a coffee while I was there.
I went to the supermarket to do my shopping on the way back.
I made lunch and as Jon was not in I ate mine as I was going out to sort books for Lions. He came in just as I was finishing.
We now have lots and lots of books and they are getting sorted. It is one of those things that I never look forward to doing but it is always better once I am thee and I enjoy it. I must say I am not looking forward to pricing them all. I will be glad when it is over as it is taking a lot of time out of my week.
I went to the post office in Bethlehem to send a parcel to Kathryn and a card to my uncle who has had an operation on his knee. The postage goes up tomorrow so I saved a couple of dollars!! I must remember to post any Christmas card I send this year from Bethlehem post office as they are all hand stamped with 'Bethlehem'. Apparently lots of people do it and the post office is very busy.
It had started to rain while we were at the book room and so by the time I got home it was miserable and so I just had a cuppa and didn't go out with Totty, much to her disgust!
Jon went tot he gym and came home about 7.00 and I had taken two pork loaves out of the freezer, same as we had on Saturday, but they were much better as we had them with cauliflower cheese and carrots so much nicer.
Heather called while we were watching Australian X Factor. She was getting ready for work so she didn't chat for long but it is nice to hear from her. I wish Jane and Kirsty would make quick calls like that. Heather is more excited than ever now as we have booked her ticket and she is counting the days.
Totty has fleas and I have treated her but the odd one is leaving her disinfected body and jumping onto me as she sits by me. I just don't know where she gets them from as she doesn't go near any dogs.
WEATHER
