Clocks change tonight

We had a really good if somewhat cloudy and wet golf lesson and we did chipping. I like chipping as I can do it reasonably well. After the class we stayed on the practice green for 20 minutes or so.

We then went and had a really nice coffee and muffin.

We need to buy a wardrobe for the spare bedroom as when Heather arrives we are not going to have enough space so we went furniture shopping. Saw some very nice furniture but not many wardrobes looks like most houses have them built in as we do.

We popped in to the supermarket for a few things and then on to the bread shop for our weekly loaf of real bread.

There is a shop called the Dogs Breakfast Trading in this shopping centre and it is a bit like Habitat in UK. It is never very busy when I have been in and today I noticed it was closing down so we went in to have a look around and low and behold we saw just the type of wardrobe we were looking for at a knock down price of $99. We bought it, flat packed, and hoped it would fit in the car - it did, just!!!

We then went to the pet shop to look at dog beds. They had one for sale which is like a cube with a circular hole at the front and we hoped Totty would like it and stop waking me up to be covered over! It will also fold down to a flat open bed with sides so one way or the other we can use it. They had the most beautiful labradoodle puppy for sale and it was soooooo sweet. It is certainly a breed I would consider for the future but don't say anything to Totty!!!

We got home and went straight back out with Totty for a walk to Rotary Park. By the time we got back we were very hungry but had to wait for the fish fingers to cook for a fish finger sandwich.

Jon made the wardrobe in the afternoon and washed the cars and I did the ironing while watching the TV.

We had a cuppa before taking Totty for her afternoon walk.

I made minced pork mini loaves wrapped in bacon for dinner. I should have made some gravy with them as they were a bit dry with just potatoes and vegetables. Jon was expecting roasted vegetables so was a bit disappointed with his dinner. I had forgotten I was going to do them!!!
