A sunny day at last

Jon left to go to Nelson.

I got two loads of washing out before I walked Totty. It is so nice to have a sunny day again, feels like ages since we had one.

Spent the morning doing housework and was just getting my lunch ready when Jodie, my new hairdresser, called to ask if I could go earlier which I did.

She washed my hair and blow dried it and I bought some very expensive sticky stuff to give texture, I hope it works.

I then went to Bayfair to have a look for a present for Kathryn's baby. Not much Kiwi stuff around for girls really. I was looking at some merino wool sleep suits but they are £40 each and not very pretty and I think for a 3 - 6 month size it is a bit excessive. I did find a nice little dress though.

A quick trip to the supermarket for bread and then off to the tip with some cardboard and plastic bottles before going home.

I fed the dog and had a cup of tea before taking her out for a walk. It is nice to have the extra hour.

Jon called to say he was in Nelson and it was sunny, he will be back tomorrow.

I did the ironing and put the clean covers on the bed.

I made some stir fry for dinner and then watched TV.

WEATHER

Warm and sunny 23 degrees
