After taking Totty for a quick walk I went to my keep fit class and stayed for a coffee. She worked us really hard this morning and I was sweating a lot.
Got home and went for a shower and washed my hair as I couldn't go out feeling like I was.
I picked up Sharon who lives just round the corner at 12.10 and headed over to the Mount to Tay Street Cafe. We had a really good lunch, I had salmon on a bed of pea and pesto risotto and it was very good. We sat and had a good natter and really enjoyed it.
When I got back I had to take Totty to the vet as she has a bad ear. He had to squirt water down as there was wax in it and he said it was very red. He had to do it twice and then put drops in and she was so good, he said she was very tolerant. I took her down to Rotary Park on our way back and we had a walk down there, it was very quiet down there only one man in a car a bit spooky really.
Jon called and was on his way 'driving' to Auckland as his flight had been cancelled due to an electrical fault. They had changed his flight to Melbourne to the 9.00 one so he would not get in till late, 1.00 our time, he is going to be very tired.
As I had a cooked lunch I only had a sandwich for dinner and as I had a Lions business meeting it was easy.
I went to collect Janice and when we got to the Coastguard Rooms they had double booked and so we had to go to one of the ladies houses in Matua, about 10 minutes away. she has a lovely big house and lives in ti on her own. The meeting went on much later than normal so it was past 10.00 when I got in. I hate coming into the house late when Jon is away but once I am in it is fine.
I phoned my sister and we had a nice chat. Unfortunately, she has had to cancel her holiday as Mick has a very bad ear infection, such a shame when you are looking forward to something.
So I went to bed very late.
