It was very odd weather this morning, drizzle and then foggy and i couldn't see the Mount from here or the causeway. By the time I set off for my class the fog was moving across and the sun was coming out but it was still foggy over the Mount by the time I got there.
We had the very energetic teacher today so a very fast class but really good. Carol and I went down to the Mount and met some of the other ladies for coffee and we managed to sit outside as it was so much warmer. Carol told me about her grandson's blog 'Alex meets the world'. I logged on to it when I got home and it is really good and her daughter in law writes it very well and puts lots of photos and videos on - it makes mine look really sick!!! But Carol tells me they work in media so are used to it.
I picked up some fish from the supermarket on the way home and then took Totty out for a walk.
I had some lunch, Jon had a meeting so wasn't home today.
I went out to deliver flyers up to an estate on the Ohauiti road. It is a big estate with quite a few hills and doing my power walking I managed to get it all done in one hour and twenty minutes but I was very hot, tired and sun burnt at the end of it. There are some lovely houses up there and some have really beautiful views.
I was more than ready for a cup of tea and a sit down. I had to drag myself up to take Totty out for her walk.
I phoned Bronwyn as I haven't spoken to her since last week. she told me her brother is very ill after his heart operation and she may have to fly down to Dunedin to see him.
I cooked dinner and had a glass of wine as I felt I deserved it but I am trying not to have wine during the week but I so enjoy a glass while cooking the dinner.
WEATHER
Fog, sun and fine 24 degrees
