A very happy day!

It was too wet for a walk this morning so just went onto the Internet and checked the newspapers.

I didn't feel nervous about going to the hospital until I had a phone call at 9.30 from the secretary to make sure I was going and then I was nervous as I wondered why she was calling??? I think it was because the weather was so bad and people had not turned up to earlier appointments and she just wanted to check.

It was pouring with rain when I arrived at the hospital but I was lucky with a parking space but the car park was nearly ankle deep with rain. I went in as soon as I arrived and it was good news!! All the cells have been removed but as there is a high chance they will come back I will be checked every three months at a special clinic he holds. I was so relieved. He was very good and answered all the questions I had on my list and reassured me. I felt on top of the world and wanted to shout and tell everyone in the waiting room on my way out!

I went into the hospital coffee bar for a much needed flat white! and sent a text to Jon.

I then went to do my shopping and it is usually quiet on Thursdays but as it was raining there were lots of people there as this supermarket has a covered car park.

I went to the P.O to post yet another parcel and then home for late lunch, salmon sandwich, leftovers from last night, very good though.

I sent out lots of emails letting all the people who have supported me know my good news.

I called Bronwyn for a chat to tell her and she was worried about her brother who was having a triple heart bypass after having a heart attack last week. He came through OK but will have to be very careful. Bronwyn gave me the name of someone for more wood for the fire as we are now very low.

I had to light the fire as it was chilly.

I made brownies and then had a cuppa and a small piece of one.

I cooked some nice prawns for dinner with vegetables, chilli and ginger.

I will keep up with healthy eating and green tea. These last months have made me realise how precious life is and I don't want another scare like this.

I watched TV and then went to bed.
