I stayed in all day today as it was raining so hard it was not worth going out and I was glad I did some shopping yesterday.
I spoke to Kirsty this morning which was nice as I was not expecting a call from any of the girls. We chatted about their trip out here and we are really excited about it, hard to believe we have Christmas before that and our trip to the UK.
I made a cake and put half in the freezer and kept the rest for the weekend.
We watched Australian X Factor and it was very entertaining.
I phoned Rene before I went to bed and was pleased to hear her sounding much happier. She did have a little cry telling me it was nearly two years since Cyril died which was just when I had to tell her we were coming down here - what a lot has happened since.
