I took Totty out for a walk even though it made me late for the shop otherwise she won't get out till late as I am doing a street collection later.
It was very busy at the shop as the new stock is in. We must have put out at least 20 boxes of stuff. I brought a skirt, top and two dresses home to try on and they all fit really well all for $30 and all brand new!!!
I made a quick lunch of scrambled egg on toast and typical Jon was late when I needed to be out to go and do the collection for 2.00!
Kiwis are so generous. We were collecting for Arthritis NZ and so many young men throw a dollar in the box, so different to UK when people walk past you even though they know you. I was with another Lion lady, Jean and we had a nice two hours chatting about all sorts of things.
I took Totty out as soon as I got back as I thought if I sat down I wouldn't get up again. I feel like I have been on my feet forever!!
I made a nice cuppa and had a nice sit down and watched TV for half an hour.
Jon went out for our fish and chips and his usual half of beer in the pub while he waits for the fish and chips to be cooked. When he came back he said he doesn't need to speak now as the girl in the F & C shop knows what he wants and the barman knows what he want when he goes into the pub - a real local he is!!!
We watched the first X Factor elimination and a boy I like was voted off, such a shame, he is only 16 and so cute.
WEATHER
Not so much wind today but still windy and a few showers17 degrees
