First day of spring

I phoned Les at 8.30 to say I would meet her at 10.30 after her swimming. She called me back to say she had to go and help at the Greerton shop so could not make it. I did think I would go over to the Mount anyway but decided against it.

Heather phoned and was chatting for an hour so it was just as well I didn't go out.

By the time I walked Totty it was very late. It was a lovely day for the first day of spring, really warm and sunny.

I did a bit of cleaning. I have been all over the place this week and don't know what day I am on as I have not been to any classes.

We had the pumpkin soup I made yesterday for lunch today.

I got ready as soon as Jon went back to work and went and delivered flyers around an area I have only ever driven through, there were so very nice houses over there.

Popped into the supermarket to buy a leek for the fish pie for tonight.

I took Totty for her walk and met a few of the people I see quite often walking their dogs.

I made the fish pie and there is enough to freeze, one day I will get used to cooking for two!

Jon brought the computer back and although I am glad we had the new little notebook one I am very glad to have our laptop back.

WEATHER
Warm and sunny 16 degrees
