A very productive day

I had forgotten to change the clock on my phone and so it didn't go off. I woke at 7.30 and got up and then at 8.00 the alarm went off and I realised what I had or should I say, had not, done!

I had put Totty in her new bed with no cover last night and just kept telling her to get back into her bed but she still had me up about six times!

A quick walk with Totty and then off to my class. Good class and it makes you feel you have done more when it is hot as you sweat more! Stayed for a coffee and a cool down and then went to deliver posters for the book sale. I must have walked miles again but I am getting there. Not such a nice part of Tauranga today so not sure what sort of response we will get.

Got back and decided to clean the inside of the car as Jon washed the outside for me. It doesn't get as dirty as my car in the UK as I don't take Totty in it very much and there is no red dust like we had on Newmarket Heath.

I washed all Totty's covers as they were a bit smelly and then I washed the dog and i could not believe how dirty she was, she has never been that dirty!! No wonder she has been crawling on her tummy and making it red and sore, probably dirt!

I had lunch and then cleaned the bathrooms after bathing the dog, the only time the bath has been used in this house is for her.

I took Totty out for her walk, I didn't need a jacket today, and had a shower and washed my hair when I got back and got ready for Lions.

Picked Janice up and went to the meeting we had a nice dinner and the speaker was a lady vicar who was talking about her time working as a volunteer in USA. She worked in a house for abused women and recovering drug addicts and prostitutes who wanted to reform. Very interesting. After the speaker we have one of our ladies who tells funny stories and jokes, most of the jokes come from me via the Internet. I thought she might be a little selective tonight in view of who the speaker was but she wasn't and the president looked embarrassed and didn't see the funny side of it but the vicar did!

Got home about 9.30 and Jon told me he had arrived back at 6.40 so was not delayed.

Hopefully Totty will sleep better tonight now that she and her bedding is clean.
