Rotorua - again!

I managed to do a bit of housework and get some washing out and walk Tot before we left for Rotorua.

I tried to buy the tickets for the thermal park online before we left as you get a discount but when it came to paying I had a problem as my Visa debit card has a new system to avoid fraud and I could not register as the server was down. I phoned the park and explained and they kindly let me reserve the tickets over the phone and pay for them when we got there and they gave me the discount, very kind of them.

We drove to Rotorua and arrived in time for a coffee and then had a look around. The geyser was very low today but still impressive. We went to the show and managed to get front seats so had a good view.

After the show we went to see the kiwi and were fortunate to see it out and pecking for insects.

We then went to the Fat Dog for lunch and Jason had the biggest burger ever and I don't know where he puts all his food. It was very good though.

We then walked around the park looking at the mud holes and lakes. Jane and Jason bathed their feet in the hot pool.

We drove home and I was feeling very tired.

I made chicken tika, byriani, vegetable curry and poppadoms for dinner and a chicken breast and salad for Jane as she does not like curry.

I was so tired I asked Jane, Heather and Jason to do the dishes as I felt I would just drop if I tried to do anything else.

So it is an early night for me ready for tomorrow!!
