A normal day!

After lots of dreams of being made homeless I got up early and showered but not as early as Jon was up as he didn't sleep well either!!

I was thinking about hanging out all my washing but as it was very overcast I thought I would wait until after taking Tot for her walk then Kirsty called and I was talking to her for nearly two hours. After a few showers and lots of chat I was finally managed to get Tot out and missed the rain. I also got the washing out and it was only caught in a few light showers and I managed to get it in this afternoon all dry.

I did some housework and the house is looking a bit cleaner now. Margaret called to say she can't make the show tomorrow night as she has a bad chest infection and she did sound pretty bad. I called Carol and left a message for her to see if she wants the ticket. She texted back later to say yes please so at least Margaret will get her money back.

I had also left a message for Viv and she, too called me and told me she had tried to take Tot out for a walk on Tuesday but she wouldn't go which is how I thought it would be but she did manage to get her down the drive and she did a wee.

I thought I had a smear appointment today but phoned to check which was just as well as it is for tomorrow.

Jon and Heather came home for lunch and we caught up with a bit of TV - Come Dine With Me - one of our favorite programmes.

After lunch I made my shopping list and then loaded the car with the recycling and went over to Bayfair to drop it off before going to the supermarket to do my shopping which hopefully, will only be once this week.

When I got back I had a cup of tea and then took Tot out again and was fortunate to miss a very heavy downpour.

Heather came home in the heavy rain and has had a bad headache all day so after dinner she went to bed.

I cooked a nice stir fry for dinner with lots of vegetables.

Jon told me he had emailed the landlady and she wants $380,000 for the house and would be open to selling the furniture, too. He has spoken to his boss to see if he is interested in buying the house and he is going to think about it so fingers crossed. Another worry I have is if the company do buy the house and we stay what are our new neighbours going to be like. Next door is not sold yet but who knows who might buy it and if they are not very nice or have lots of kids or a big dog we will have to stay here as we will have bought the house. Life is never easy!!!

WEATHER
Cold, windy and heavy, occasional showers 16 degrees
