A good day of rugby

We took Tot out for her walk and met a few boisterous dogs we have not met before and Tot was not impressed. However, Brandy chasing a butterfly was very sweet and very funny.

I asked Kim from next door if they could let Tot out later this afternoon as we would be back late.

We set off at 1045 and made it to the Kaimai Cafe in time for a coffee.

We then continued on to Hamilton through some very heavy downpours but arrived safe and sound.

We did finally manage to find a car park and then walked through the town stopping for lunch before heading out to the Waikato Stadium.

The Samoan supporters were full of life and very vocal on our way to the stadium and once inside but very good natured.

We had pretty good seat and were under cover so no chance of getting wet but in the end it was very sunny so no problems there.

We really enjoyed the game but I can't say Heather and I understand it all that well!!

With a good and happy Wales victory we left the stadium at 5.00 and after walking back to the car park, getting out of Hamilton - I have never seen so much traffic in all the time we have lived here - an accident just outside of Tauranga we finally reached home at 8.15!!!!! The trip usually takes just over an hour!

I quickly made a pasta meal for us and we then sat and enjoyed the England game. Unfortunately the commentators were very much for the Georgia side but England won and that is what counts!! Yeah go England but please try a bit harder!!!!!

WEATHER
Heavy showers but mostly sunny 16 degrees.
