A cold day

Due to the south wind it felt very cold this morning.

I was up early as I feel I have so much to do to catch up with housework and get ready for China.

I had promised to help at the Red Cross today as they were changing over from winter to summer stock and the shop would be closed so they needed as much help as possible to get it done ASAP.

I should have had a physio appointment but they phoned to say she was ill so it gave me a bit more time at home to do a few bits before going out to the shop.

The morning passed quickly and we were all kept very busy. I put out lots of lovely children's things. It is a shame the postage costs so much as I would love to send more things home for family and friends.

I left at 12.30 and got home and made lunch for Jon and Heather.

After lunch I got stuck in to my housework and washing and also managed to dye my hair so a pretty good afternoon.

I took Tot out and although cold it was a lovely evening.

I cooked dinner and did a bit of ironing and at last feel I have made some progress, I just need to find out what the weather is going to be like in China so I can sort out some clothes. I think it will go from hot and humid in Hong Kong to cooler up in Beijing so careful packing I think.

WEATHER
Cloudy with sunny spells 15 degrees
