I hung out the washing before I went to the shop today but wasn't sure it would still be on the line when I got home as it was so windy! Tot and I nearly got blown away on our walk.
Not much going on sales wise today at the Red Cross. Not a lot of stock left and tomorrow is the last day of the winter sale. We have the changeover on Monday and I am going in to help. All the stock has been brought up from the processing centre and we have filled the rails with lots of hangers ready to put all the stock out. Unfortunately, we had lots of heavy showers and we were all saying our washing was going to get wet.
I stayed late today as I had an appointment for a smear at 1.45 so it was not worth going home. I bought a sandwich for lunch when I went over for our coffee.
I had my smear done by a very nice English nurse and as that was my third clear one I will now go on the three year recall system.
When I got home the washing was still on the line apart from the white tablecloth which was dragging nicely on the floor and so will need to be washed again. Surprisingly the towels were not too wet and after a short blast in the dryer they were fine.
I got ready to go out and did my nails, fed Tot and then had some dinner. I changed and went out to pick Viv and Sharon up and we went to see Tarnished Frocks and Divas. A charity fashion show in aid of breast cancer. Bronwyn is the stage manager and I went to it two years ago, they only have it every two years as it is such a big production.
The show was really good and for some reason we were moved from our back row seats to the front row!! The lady told us they were not using the back row but people were sitting there after we moved so now sure why but we didn't complain and we all had a really good time and enjoyed the show very much.
I got home very late by Kiwi standards 10.30!!
WEATHER
Sunny but some heavy showers 16 degrees
