A nice quiet day

A nice slow start to the day as we had nothing planned for today. After breakfast we took Tot out and then we went out for coffee and Heather was still in bed.

After coffee, and I only had a quarter of the muffin today as I would like to cut down, we went to the library to change Jon's books. We then went down onto the Strand to have a look at what was going on at the Multicultural Show and we arrived just in time to see some lovely Maori singing, dancing and 'three' hakas all very impressive. There was a lot going on but as a big cloud came over we headed back to the car and on to the supermarket to buy some meat.

Back home I made beans on toast for lunch and later in the afternoon Jon and Heather went out to buy rugby stuff for the game tomorrow. I did the ironing and read a magazine.

I cooked lamb steaks for dinner with corn on the cob and salad

WEATHER
Sunny with showers 17 degrees
