A visit to the physio

Managed to get my washing out on the line before 9.00 and then out to the physio.

She assessed me and said my back was in spasm and was surprised at the size of the bruise and wondered why I had not done something about it sooner!!!

She told me that I had probably torn a lot of the muscle threads which had bled and due to gravity all the blood had gone to my lower thigh which had caused such a lot of bruising. She did some ultrasound to break it up, some exercises and a deep massage. I told her that I would not have been able to let her touch it a few days ago so it must be a bit better. She gave me exercises to do at home and I have to go back on Friday.

I then went for a coffee and a few bits at the supermarket before going over to see Bianca and the baby. Les was there and they seemed to be OK but I didn't get a chance to find out how things are.

The baby, Simone, is beautiful and although only three weeks old she was giving me lovely smiles when I was holding her and talking to her and they were real, proper smiles. She is so sweet.

I got back in time to do lunch, kumara and vegetable soup and rolls.

I did some of my exercises in the afternoon, walked the dog and then watched the rest of Dancing on Ice before doing a bit of ironing.

I made and apple and lemon sponge pudding and a sausage and pasta bake for dinner.

Watched some TV and then it was time for bed and the rain has just started.

WEATHER
Cold first thing again but clear blue sky 15 degrees
