More dafodil phoning

After last night's rain it was nice to see the sun this morning even if it was cold.

I took Tot out for her walk and then hung some washing out which should dry pretty fast as it is a bit windy.

Went out to do my shopping and to the post office. My leg is feeling a bit easier today and the bruise does not look so bad.

Jon and Heather came home for lunch and then Jon packed to go to Napier and will be back tomorrow. I went to do more phoning for the Cancer Society. We have now started on the new people lists so we have to explain what it is all about. I didn't do too badly and managed to get 8 sales. I phoned the Crimestoppers number which is an 0800 number. When they answered the message says if it is an emergency dial 111 or hold to speak to an operator so I held. When she answered I told her what it was and she said "It is very nice of you to think of us but we are in the UK"!!!!! I am really not sure why NZ Crimestoppers should be put through to UK?

Got home and fed the dog then walked her. Came back and lit the fire, I am pretty good at it now and it takes off first time. I then stood and did some ironing. Heather had netball tonight so was home late. I cooked a piece of salmon for my dinner and had my first glass of wine this week.

WEATHER
Another cold start but warmer later with some cloud 15 degrees
