My washing machine is back - again!

After a cold start, which made getting out of bed difficult, the morning was warm and sunny with clear skies.

I took Tot out for her walk but could only manage to get round the block as my leg is still very sore but there is now a lot of bruising showing.

Spent most of the morning reading about the Dukan diet and I hope I can get Kirsty interested in it as it is on a special deal through the Mail this week.

They arrived with my washing machine at about 11.30 and I got stuck in to doing the five loads I had waiting, just as well it is a good day.

Kim called me over to ask if I could collect their post and bring in her bin from down the drive after the binman calls tomorrow. They are driving up to Auckland and Kim and Brett are off to Melbourne for a few days.

Heather came home for lunch and I made cauliflower cheese with bacon. We are having our main meal at lunchtime while Jon is away this week.

I did a bit of housework and got some of the mess put away that has accumulated over the last two weeks while Katharine was here.

I finally caught up with Dancing on Ice which has freed up a lot of space on Sky.

Heather came home and we took Tot for a walk but just round the block again. I will have to send Dianne an email to say I can't make my keep fit class as there is no way I can bounce around!!!

We had omelette for dinner and then watched TV.
