They said on the news this morning that June had been the warmest June since records began but they said that about May, too. The reason why they haven't got much snow on the slopes yet!
I took Tot out for a quick walk as it is bin day so we don't go far.
I went to my keep fit class and had a text from Heather asking me to make a dentist appointment for her.
A quick trip to the supermarket for some spinach and back home for a shower and wash my hair.
The rest of the day was spent doing what I wanted as I had no lunch to prepare so did a bit of this and a bit of that and it was very pleasant.
After taking Tot out for her walk I came back and lit the fire and made a sausage past sauce for tomorrow. We are supposed to be going to Rotorua but the weather forecast is not looking good but it was supposed to rain today and so far we have had nothing!!
There was an earthquake in Hawke's Bay this morning but a deep one so no damage and then this afternoon a strong one in Taupo but very deep so once again no damage. Heather and Katharine got back from Wellington where the quake was felt but they didn't feel anything. They had a good time and managed to get a lot done. They thought they had a lot of time for their flight and went to the toilet and heard their names being called to board!!! They said the flight was bumpy but not as much as the flight down.
WEATHER
Bright and sunny again 16 degrees
