After taking the dog for her walk I went off to do my shopping.
When I came back I did some much needed housework and then went out and cleaned my car.
We had ostrich sausages for lunch.
I had my hospital appointment this afternoon for a colonoscopy. The surgeon was running late so I had to wait for about half an hour. When I finally went in he was very apologetic and extremely nice to me and put me at ease. The result of it all is I need to control my constipation better and he gave me some lactulose which I have had many times before and I don't expect it to work any better now than it has in the past!!! He wants to see me again in three months.
I got home and it was bliss to be home ALONE and have some time for myself and watched what I want on TV. Heather and Katharine are out for netball followed by a drink.
Refreshed after my bit of 'me' time I was able to cook dinner.
We had some nice presents from Katharine, a bottle of gin, a huge box of chocolates, my hair dye, and a fridge magnet from Chesterfield where she lives all very kind of her.
I had a contact from a school friend on FB lovely to hear from her and she now lives near Cambridge!!
