A very nice lunch

We were up and ready early today and typically nobody was online to chat so we were able to get Totty out for her walk early.

We went for coffee to Palmer's, the local garden centre so just down the road.

usually when you are invited to a drinks or something her in NZ you take a plate of something but Bronwyn said she didn't need anything so we went out and bought some lovely stocks for her.

I came back and made a casserole to have ready for our dinner.

Went across to Bronwyn's at 1.00 and they had invited a very nice Dutch people who worked for Shell and have travelled a lot and Jon was able to chat to them a lot about the Sudan as they spent time there, too. all in all a very pleasant afternoon with lovely nibbles and drinks. It was pouring with rain so was a very nice way to pass the time.

Got home in time to give Totty her dinner but couldn't get her out for a walk as it was too wet so we had a cup of tea. We lit the fire and watched TV.

The casserole was nice and so I didn't fall asleep watching TV I did some of my blog before going to bed.

WEATHER
Cold and cloudy first thing then wet and then very wet 14 degrees
