I was on rota for cancer daffodil phoning today so picked Janice up at 8.45 to go to the cancer offices. I was in the room with Denise, the office administrator and it was really annoying as she kept interfering with what I was saying but of course she could not hear what was being said to me so her comments were rather annoying. It was rather slow going as it was Monday morning but we got through lots and sold some but I was glad when it was 12.00.
Got back in time for lunch with Jon and then rushed around doing housework as this is my usual day and I like to get it done. I had arranged to go out with Bronwyn, she wanted to find a snowsuit for her granddaughter, and I wanted to find something for Louise's new baby but Monday is not my best day to go out but never mind.
I bought some nice baby things, shoes, towel, burping cloth all with a Kiwi theme so hope she likes them. We then went for a cup of tea before going home.
I gave Totty her dinner and then took her for a walk and met Kim, my neighbour on the way back and had a chat with her.
Bronwyn brought a big bag of grapefruit and tangelos over, we never seem to be without fruit here and all for free.
Took a pot out of the freezer for dinner so didn't have to cook.
Jon went to the gym and we had dinner when he got back I did my blog in the evening so that I would not fall asleep watching TV. My ribs are still sore but feeling better.
WEATHER
Really, really wet this morning but dry by 12 then 18 degrees and sunny
