Back to keep fit

I went to my class this morning and managed pretty well with the exercises until the ones we do on the mat and I could only do a few of them. I had told Diane before we started so she knew I wouldn't be able to do the whole class but what I did was good.

Afterwards I helped with the tea and coffee and we all had a chat sitting in the sun.

Went to the supermarket and spent ages trying to decide which spread to buy. I prefer butter but I know it is not good, well a bit every now and again is OK. But the other spreads are so confusing and they all have so many additives and things in them, at least butter is just butter! I have bought one that is low in calories and is supposed to lower cholesterol absorbtion, we will have to wait and see what it tastes like!

It was nearly time for lunch when I got back so too late to take Totty out. Jon came home and we had lunch with the doors wide open as it was so warm.

When Jon went back to work I thought I would try the consultant's secretary again and surprise, surprise she answered, it is usually an answerphone. I asked her if I could give her Jon's mobile to put on my notes in case of a cancellation. She told me there was no need as she had just spoken to Dr McAuley and he told her to put me on the list for next Tuesday. I could have cried with relief. She will get the paperwork out to me tonight to fill in. Not sure what time it will be yet but I will be glad to get it over with.

I then took Totty down to Rotary Park and it was so lovely and sunny we stayed there for quite a while and we were the only ones there apart from a lady walking her dog way down on the sand as the tide was out.

I called Bronwyn to let her know and she was just about to call me to see how things were. We discussed the gammon and sausages and she is very happy with them, too.

I had a sad email from Mandy, Malcolm's ex wife to tell me that her husband died last week. She lives in Italy now and wanted me to let old friends know.

As I have a Lions business meeting I took a chill from the freezer and I had it with salad and I left a baked potato and salad for Jon who arrived home just as I was going out.

The meeting went well but they do go round the houses to sort things out but never mind they are all very nice.

Got home by 9.20 and had a much needed cup of coffee.

WEATHER
Bright and sunny, but cold first thing then 15 degrees later.
