Ribs still too sore for gym

Jon left for Whangarei this morning, he has to fly to Auckland and then a short 20 minute flight to Whangarei which is near the Bay of Islands. His flight was delayed an hour due to bad weather.

I took Totty for her walk as i couldn't go to my class as my ribs are still too sore. Tuesday is bin day and on our walk we came across the bin wagon and I had to cross the road as Totty was so scared of the wagon - silly dog.

I did my housework that I should have done yesterday, changed bed and that was a mistake as putting the clean duvet cover on was so painful!

I went in to Tauranga to pic up my trousers that had been shortened and I also bought a musical mobile for Louise and some hair bobbles for the baby as she has so much hair and then I had a coffee, of course!!

I found a nice grey top to go with my new jumper and trousers, in the sale so I now have enough warm clothes for the UK in January.

By the time I had done all that I was back for a very late lunch.

Carried on with my housework and did hoovering!! that was very painful, too. I will be glad when my ribs are better.

I took Totty out and we had a wet walk!

Jon called to say he had arrived and the motel was very nice and he was just off out for dinner with some of the operators.

I felt really bad with headache that had been coming on all afternoon and felt sick. I took some Panadol and must have fallen asleep and when I woke at 9.15 I felt better so heated a tin of soup for my dinner. Totty was jumpy and kept running downstairs and barking and it was very windy and I felt very edgy which I don't normally when Jon is away.

I went onto the computer and did my blog and a few email and then started watching a TV programme about a little girl in USA who was born with her legs joined and she was called mermaid girl. It was really sad as she died in 2009. I didn't get to bed till nearly 1.00.

Totty is making a mess of her paw again!!! She has started to chew it again so I have had to start with the cream again.
