Took Totty out for a walk and she was really slow, I think she must be feeling her age! I had to make sure the house was tidy in case Seleena comes early.
The shop was very quiet this morning and Les had gone up to Auckland to see her son so only Sharon and I but we kept busy and I found a T shirt and a sweatshirt and a sweatshirt jacket for gym. I also found a snowsuit for Bronwyn's granddaughter for $6, still with the labels on. I am not sure she will like it as it is a bit boyish but she only needs it for a weekend and will never wear it again. If she does not like it I will take it home to give to someone in the UK as it is really nice.
Got home for lunch and then made sure all was in order.
Seleena arrived at 2.15 and stayed till nearly 4.00. We had a nice chat and she took more things from her cupboard. She says the only things left are things of her daughter's when she was a child. We had hoped she would clear the cupboard as we would like to use the space but she has locked it again so is obviously leaving the things there till her daughter says she wants them.
I took Totty out for her walk and then came back and got my things sorted for the weekend. I thin did the bit of ironing I had left to do.
Jon went out for our fish and chips for dinner and then after clearing up I did the packing as we need to be away by 8.15 tomorrow.
I was typing my blog when my friend, Enid, popped up on chat on FB. It is so nice to be able to chat to people so easily. It is strange that the people who keep in touch regularly are not the people I expected to - I really know who my friends are now!!!!
I got to bed later than I had intended and very tired.
WEATHER
After overnight rain it was cloudy and a bit cold but sunny later. 17 degrees.
