It was a lovely autumn morning, with a bit of a nip in the air when I was out walking Totty.
A man came round to quote for cleaning the windows which are looking a mess and I can't clean them as they are not like English windows and only open a little way. He has quoted $45 which I think is good so he is coming on Tuesday to do them. I will have to get the insides cleaned on Monday so they are all done.
I then went off to the Red Cross and we had a very busy morning. We have lots of children's clothes in now but not many for adults as the container coming from Australia is late arriving. I did manage to find a nice pair of cropped trousers for $6 and then with my discount they cost $4.50 amazing! They are an end of line and new and really nice.
I then went up to Greerton for my second golf lesson. There was a tournament on and so it was very busy. There were some top class players and the TV cameras were there and we had to be quiet when they were teeing off but all very interesting to be 'in' on the match and to see top players. The lesson was good and we did chipping this week. I do find my back aches bending over and my grip is too tight, I need to relax. It was really hot standing out in full sun today.
Got back and had a late lunch and then took Totty out for a walk.
Jon was fumigating a shop today as he wanted to see how it was done. He took some photos and said it was very interesting.
We had our fish and chips tonight and I drank tonic as I really didn't like the red wine when I tried it.
WEATHER
Cooler this morning but very hot later on in the day.
