A lovely morning again and a nice walk with Totty.
I had a phone call first thing from Kirsty to ask how to clean cat wee from her mattress. she told me that Tom cat is really not well and she was going to call Jane but didn't want to take him to be put to sleep till James gets back tomorrow. I feel so sorry for the girls having to go through all this on their own. Heather has now gone back to Derby.
I got my washing done and hung out before going into Tauranga for coffee, the library, buying my ticket for Bride of the Year Show and then I found a lovely necklace for Kirsty so all done quite quickly.
I then went to the supermarket and did my shopping and bought a mop and bucket as I am fed up getting down on my knees to wash the bathrooms.
Saw my neighbour, Kim, when I got back and she was telling me all about their trip to Perth for her husband's brother's wedding. I don't see them often as they are both working and the children are not out in the garden that often, they are ideal neighbours.
I went along to the post office to send the parcels to the girls hopefully they will get them by Tuesday.
I cooked a really nice Jamie Oliver recipe tonight. It was salmon with herbs and potato all on one tray in the oven so it was easy to do. I checked what time Jon's flight was due in and so the dinner was ready when he got home at about 8.15.
Kirsty called again to say the cat was really bad and Jane had been really upset when she saw him today so I think they will be taking him to the vet on Saturday, poor thing but at nearly 18 he has done very well.
WEATHER
Lovely and sunny all day, we are so lucky.
