It rained very hard last night and woke me up, it's a long time since that happened. I had nearly forgotten how noisy the rain on the roof is!
Took Tot out for her walk but she is getting slower and when I am in a hurry to get off to a class it drives me mad, bless her!
The class, as usual, was very good and we all said our goodbyes to Roz who leaves us to go back to Anglesey for six months. She flies to Manchester via Singapore but this time due to the ash she has to stop in Munich also which is a pain and adds to the already long journey. I will miss her at the class as we always have a chat with coffee afterwards. Still she will be back before we know it.
Went straight home after class and put the colour on my hair. I only have four more applications and then not sure what I am going to do, get the girls to send some over or try the ONE they have here! They have lots of permanent but only the one semi, but I have four months to think about it!
I went to Lions dinner meeting tonight. The meal was the usual and the talk was of the Bride Show which everyone was pleased about. The speaker was from Avalon which is a centre for mentally and physically handicapped people. It is a bit like a day centre for them but they get paid for the work they do. They make trellis and do sewing and have a big post room and take work from local companies and get paid for it. We are probably going to give them a donation from our funds.
We got home safely even though we did have a bit of a near miss with a tanker at the traffic lights that Jean didn't see where on red! I really am going to have to say I will drive myself and Janice as it is too nerve wracking.
WEATHER
Very heavy rain overnight and cloudy this morning. Sun came out and it was warm but more showers in the evening.
