It was so nice not to have itchy feet and hands so it looks like wine is off for me for the time being!
Kirsty called this morning to ask Jon about the mower as it wouldn't start. We thought it was very funny her calling Jon in NZ to say the mower wouldn't work. He told her to tell James to just keep trying as it was always like that when you bring it out after the winter.
We drove into Tauranga and went to our new favorite coffee bar and the breakfast looks so good we might even treat ourselves to breakfast there next Sunday.
As the library doesn't open till 11.30 we went to see the rose gardens instead and even though it is autumn there are still lots of roses in bloom. They also have a very nice begonia house which has a banana tree in it with a big bunch of bananas.
We then went over to the Cargo Shed which is an old warehouse with lots of craft stalls in it and we bought some nice fridge magnets and a T shirt each so it was worth the visit. After taking our books back to the library we went home for lunch.
I was still not feeling very well so Jon went to the gym and I read my new book and made a casserole for dinner. Seems really strange having a casserole it is such a long time since we had one but it was good and made a change.
We called Malcolm to see how he was and had a long chat to him. Not sure when he will get over here as next Jan/Feb we are going to UK anyway and then Jon won't have that much leave and of course he will need leave for when Kirsty and James come over so Malcolm thinks he will probably leave it till 2012 which seems a long time off.
WEATHER
Sunny all day again.
