Goody Bags

I managed to get Totty out for a proper walk before going to pick Les up for swimming. Although it was a lovely day the pool was a bit cooler than it usually is. Fortunately, the teacher was on time and once we got started we soon warmed up and had a really good class followed by a dip in the really hot pool.

We then went along to Tay Street Cafe for a coffee and it was so hot sitting outside in the sun I thought I was going to pass out. Bronwyn turned up with her friend and the dog, they had been for a walk on the beach but they sat in the shade and we had to leave as I was just too hot.

After dropping Les off I went home and washed my hair. I had an early lunch and then went over to Bethlehem to fill the goody bags ready for the show on Saturday. We had a good turnout of Lions ladies and it was soon done. It is really hot in the room where we do it (the same one we had for the book sale) and I should remember to take a bottle of water with me as I was so hot and really thirsty. We wrapped the presents for the brides now we just need to sell some tickets as not many have been sold.

I loaded my car up with bags so that I don't need to go and collect them on Saturday.

Jon went to the gym after work so was home late and I did a bit of catching up with Neighbours and drank three glasses of water followed by a cup of tea!

We had shepherds pie tonight and it was so nice.

I have a free day tomorrow to do my own things.

WEATHER
Warm and sunny again 21 degrees
