I had a busy morning at the Red Cross today. I bought a lovely Jigsaw jacket for me and a little black lace bolero to go over dresses and two pairs of trousers for Jon. My jacket is not new but hardly worn but the other things are.
My hair was a mess and had grown a lot and I had managed to get an appointment for a cut at 1.00 so I went straight from the shop which meant I didn't get home till gone 2.00.
I called Alison to ask if she was in for a cuppa and she said yes come over and she also called Bronwyn to pop in. Alison makes a lovely tray bake called oaty crunch and it is so good all gooey and chewy. I had found a lovely jacket and trousers for her granddaughter which still had the label on and it was only $7 (£2.50). The trousers look more like PJs but the top is lovely.
Jon went to the gym tonight and so was home late but just in time for fish and chips. I tried a glass of wine but it made me feel so ill it really isn't worth it. This food poisoning is going on a bit. The fish was good though and as I had fish last night with no ill effects it must be the alcohol that does it.
