Anzac Day

We took Totty out for a walk this morning but she is getting very slow and I can't walk as fast as I used to with her.

When we got back Jon started to read through Heather's work and as it was Anzac Day nothing was open till 1.00 so we couldn't go out for coffee and had to have a cup of instant!

I did some washing and then read my book as I was near the end and it was very good.

We had lunch and Jon was still reading!

After lunch Jon went out for a swimming lesson and I started a new book - I love all this time to read.

I bathed the dog and did a flea treatment on her and then went back to reading.

I made a tiramisu, coffee this time, for dinner tonight and then prepared the dinner - lamb chops wrapped in bacon with sage and a green bean and courgette salad and it was very nice. I had some wine tonight and my feet only itched a little bit!

After watching TV I phoned Mary and had a chat to her but not for long as Kathryn's in laws were coming up for lunch so she was busy.

Really warm and sunny again. I really don't want this lovely weather to end
