Jon didn't need to leave till 8.30 today as he was going up to Auckland for a meeting.
After having a chat to Kirsty and also my cousin io FBo and MSN I took Totty down to the beach. There were only two people on the beach and no dogs so it was really nice and we walked a long way but she still doesn't like the waves.
When I got back I wrote my shopping list and then went to Fraser Cove and had a coffee before going to the supermarket. I had a $30 voucher from my loyalty card so treated myself to some nice face cream as I can't drink wine I thought I would spend it on me, I usually buy an expensive bottle of wine with it.
I then bought some ribbon in the $2 shop (like the £ shop in UK) I need to make some bows to decorate the stage for Saturday.
After lunch I looked on the internet for instructions on how to make bows. I love the net, you can find anything you want on it. I got some good instructions and made some lovely bows. However, I think I am going to have to get more ribbon as the seven I have made will look a bit lost on the huge stage. I had an email tonight from the lady who is in charge of fundraising and she told me the two arches that we have for decoration are huge and will need a lot on them. Help! I didn't think it was going to be down to me to bring it all. I have emailed the other ladies who are down to help to ask them to bring ideas and whatever will be needed for them. I just hope it is all going to be OK.
My friend Viv is going to UK next week for six months to stay with her sister in Chelmsford so I took her a little present along this evening, just some wipes and hand cream for her journey so she can freshen up. She was really pleased with them.
Had some good salmon for dinner followed by ice cream and fresh passion fruit which I love.
